Science Teachers` Association Mizoram (STAM)
The premier Science NGO in the state of Mizoram, India. Since its inception in 1986, STAM is actively working for popularisation and promotion of Science education in the State. It has been carrying out many activities including the national projects – Years of Scientific Awareness, Planet Earth, Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics, Nature Camp for Students’, Wipro Earthian project, Survey on Usage of Polythene within Aizawl Municipal Areas, organized STAM proficiency Award in HSLC & HSSLC topper in Science & Mathematics, Polythene campaign in School within Aizawl Municipal Area etc. for the popularization of science and to develop scientific temperament, creative mind amongst the children as well as to the general public.

State Level Children Science Congress
The 28th State Level Children Science Congress was held during 3-4 March 2021 at Education Conference Hall, Directorate of School Education, Aizawl. The CSC received 28 projects from Child Scientists of different Districts across the State.
Indian Science Congress 2020
Indian Science Congress is the oldest and largest Science festival in India. The 107th edition of ISC was held during 3-7 January 2020 at University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru. STAM participated in the event of Children Science Congress wherein two students along with their mentors presented their exhibitions. Mizoram stall was one of the star attractions in the event.
National Children Science Congress 2019
The 27th edition of National Children’s Science Congress was held during 27th to 31st December 2019 at Trivandrum, Tamil Nadu. Selected students (8 in nos) and three guide teachers from Mizoram participated in the event.
STAM organised Polythene Awareness campaign in various schools within the vicinity of Aizawl Municipal Corporation (AMC). Leaflet prepared for the same was distributed to students and popular lectures were also given. The awareness witnessed positive responses from all corners.
